What do Tennis:MK do?
The object of Tennis MK is to promote and develop the game of tennis in the Milton Keynes area including administrating junior and adult leagues and competitions. Tennis MK is affiliated to Bucks LTA and is run by a management committee consisting of a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and 7 other members.
Membership of Tennis MK is open to any tennis club, school, college or group of players who wish to play competitive tennis within a ten mile radius of Milton Keynes.
Tennis MK runs a number of competitive leagues including 6 open divisions, 4 ladies divisions and 3 mixed divisions in the summer and 6 medley divisions in the winter. Currently there are 20 clubs playing in the league with 100 teams playing in the summer competitions.
Tennis MK also organises tournaments and competitions throughout the summer & winter. The season culminates in a Finals Day and Presentation Evening during September.
